Attending the seminar were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Vice Rector of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Trinh - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Development Research Institute; scientists and researchers from research institutes and universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
The conference attracted 24 presentations from managers, experts and researchers working at agencies, units, universities and research institutes in Ho Chi Minh City. The content of the presentations focused on the following issues: Analysis of start-up barriers, causes of startup failure in Vietnam in general and HCMC in particular; Proposing remedial solutions; Analyze the start-up process in a number of industries (agriculture, cosmetics).
The delegates exchanged and discussed solutions to promote the start-up process and start-up orientation in the coming time, such as: start-up activities need to be oriented to develop in accordance with the development orientation of the company. Ho Chi Minh City, specifically developing service industries, auxiliary activities for large foreign enterprises; it is necessary to remove barriers in the business environment such as market access, access to resources, etc.; it is necessary to have separate mechanisms and policies for each group of businesses (large, medium, small, and micro); Step by step perfecting the startup and innovation ecosystem to support businesses in the start-up stage; To improve the efficiency of capital supply, the State should establish an Incubation Fund to support the development of technology enterprises through preferential loans, grants, ...; Promote the development of reading culture, creative culture.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Nguyen Duc Trung - Vice President of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Conference, thanked the speakers and delegates for their valuable time to attend and contributed to the workshop meaningful ideas that contributed to the success of the workshop.
